This theory based photography workshop is perfect for those new to photography, people who want to get more from their camera or for people who simply want a refresher on how to use their camera. 

An ideal introduction to photography, this short course will help you to get the best out of your camera and lenses and will get you out and taking great images.

 

The workshop will cover a range of aspects of photography, including camera functionality and exposure control, lens selection, camera modes and composition.

Instructor

Steve Piggott


Born in England, Steven came to Australia in the early 70’s and currently lives south of Sydney in the beautiful Illawarra.

Starting his photographic career in 1983 he worked, as many people do, in retail camera sales. In 1986 he started studies for his diploma of photography at Sydney TAFE (Ultimo) while also working for various photographic studios shooting portraits, still life and weddings.

After Tafe, he opened his own photographic studio, which he successfully ran for a number of years, until once again returning to the area of photographic sales.

Steven is the course co-ordinator for the Foto Riesel training centre.
