Born in England, Steven came to Australia in the early 70’s and currently lives south of Sydney in the beautiful Illawarra. Starting his photographic career in 1983 he worked, as many people do, in retail camera sales. In 1986 he started studies for his diploma of photography at Sydney TAFE (Ultimo) while also working for various photographic studios shooting portraits, still life and weddings. After Tafe, he opened his own photographic studio, which he successfully ran for a number of years, until once again returning to the area of photographic sales. Steven is the content manager for the Foto Riesel training centre.
